Seeking an expert in analytical methods development to utilize ELSD, CAD, LCMS, HPLC, and other analytical techniques; Provide analytical method development expertise and validation of analytical methods; Design and conduct stability, impurity and degradation studies; Lead investigations of out-of-specification conditions and materials for the purification and characterization of proteins and lipids.

Experience Required:

*** B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Formulations, Bioanalytical Chemistry or related field. M.S. or PhD preferred.

*** 5 plus years working in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or BioPharma industry. Previous work with large molecules preferred.

*** Knowledge of cGMP?s, GLP, GDP and regulatory requirements for Pharma analysis and method validation.

*** Strong Supervisory Skills.

PRO/UAW is the Union for over 5,000 Postdoctoral Researchers at the University of California. By signing up a majority of Postdocs, we can exercise our legal rights to bargain with UC. Postdoc representatives we choose will survey us to determine priorities and will then negotiate a contract with UC. We can negotiate for improvements in wages, hours, benefits, and terms and conditions of employment.
